Over the past 20 years I’ve been privileged to adventure through a most exciting calling: church and recreational based ministry to middle, high and college students. The opportunity I’ve been granted to walk with individuals in their spiritual journey has been an absolute gift, and along the way I’ve gained unexpected insights into how creativity and experiences can open us up to deeper living.

In the background, I’ve also pursued a love for photography for the duration of my ministry career, seeking images that connect people with places that truly inspire. I’ve sold work in retail locations spanning North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee, recorded remote images from across the country and covered a variety of events and portraiture. Whereas in the past this work was based on rigorous attention to every detail, I’m leaning into a new season that aims to return a sense of wonder and depart from mere perfection. I’m all about pushing the bounds of technique and discovering how to do things in a different way. I hope to pass on inspiration through my images, representing in fresh ways those things that have caught my eye or brought joy to work on.
